Michał Wołoszyn

I’ve worked in the industry for more than 10 years. I started out on the shop floor, selling TVs directly in stores. That’s where I learned the most important thing: how to turn complicated, marketing-heavy technical jargon into language anyone can understand. I know what you ask about, what you worry about and what you actually need when looking for new kit for your home.

I’ve been involved with the choose.tv project from the very beginning. My job is to make sure the tests and reviews you read here are simple, concrete and human. On a day-to-day basis I work closely with Maciej (our display expert), Paweł (who puts the kit through its paces in tests) and Kasia when creating content for our socials.

My role? On international sites this position would be called “Senior Staff Writer”. I take all those complicated charts, figures and tables, along with the manufacturer's marketing slogans, and then I "translate" them so you know exactly whether a given piece of kit is worth your money. From time to time I’ll also pass on tried-and-tested deals, buying round-ups and the most interesting news. And if you opt for individual consultations to help choose a TV, you’ll be talking to me.

In my free time you’ll usually find me at the console or PC with the latest games, in front of the screen watching a good film, or (if I really must) out on a bike ride. 👍
