Michał Wołoszyn

I've been in the industry for more than 10 years. I started on the front line, selling TVs directly in stores. That's where I learned the most important thing: how to turn complicated, marketing-led technical jargon into language anyone can understand. I know what you ask about, what you worry about and what you actually need when you're looking for new gear for your home.

I've been with the choose.tv project from the very beginning. My job is to make sure the tests and reviews you read here are clear, to the point and human. On a day-to-day basis I work closely with Maciej (our display specialist), Paweł (who puts hardware through its paces in tests) and Kasia on content for our socials.

My role? On international sites that position would be called "Senior Staff Writer". I take all those complicated charts, numbers and tables together with the manufacturer's marketing claims and "translate" them so you know exactly whether a piece of kit is worth your money. From time to time I'll also pass on handpicked deals, buying guides and the most interesting news. And if you decide to book an individual TV consultation, you'll be talking to me.

In my free time you'll find me on a console or PC with the latest games, in front of a screen with a good film, or (when I have to) out on a bike ride. 👍
