Hisense is a brand that has made its way into the mainstream in recent years, offering a cheaper alternative to Samsung or LG. This is not equipment for image purists (like Sony), but for pragmatic users who want modern features (120Hz, local dimming) without paying a "logo tax." The two main distinguishing features of this brand are: Laser TV (a niche solution for cinema lovers) and the VIDAA system (a fast but closed operating system).
1. VIDAA System – speed and classic features, but a shorter app bench
The Hisense system is lightning-fast and stable. It stands out for functionality that others overlook: excellent USB recording support (PVR) and backlit remotes in many models. The downside is the closed structure – the app library is not as rich as on Google TV. You won’t be able to install strange add-ons here, although all the key streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Polish VOD) are available and work flawlessly.
2. Dominator of large diagonals and leader in Laser TV technology
Hisense holds the title of the number 1 brand in sales of TVs with a diagonal of 100 inches and larger. This is the result of developing unique Laser TV technology (short throw projectors).
3. Support for all HDR formats (Dolby Vision + HDR10+)
Most Hisense models are "room mediators" in the format war. Unlike Samsung, LG, or Sony, these TVs support both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Regardless of which streaming service you use, the TV will always display the image in the best possible standard.
4. Image processing – the gap between flagships and mid-range
It’s important to distinguish between top models and those for the masses. Flagships (e.g., the U8Q series or the highest U7 PRO models) have advanced processors that handle images exceptionally well. However, in the popular "mid-range," image processing and upscaling are average – performing very similarly to TCL.
Both brands use similar panels (often from the same factories), so the "raw" image potential is comparable. The differences arise from software, image processing, and additional features.

Gaming Features | Supports 144Hz and VRR but usually does not support HGiG standard. Smart TV System | VIDAA (Closed). A very lightweight, fast, and stable system. No possibility to install system apps (VPN, KODI, non-standard players). | Google TV (Open). A multimedia powerhouse. Hisense U8Q is a television that makes it hard not to feel that the manufacturer approached the topic with the ambition of a top student. The picture is strong, vibrant, and contrasted – as if it’s shouting: “look, I can do more than most at this price!” And indeed, there is something to this. The secret lies in the large number of dimming zones in Mini-LED technology. Thanks to them, HDR doesn't ...

Hisense U8NQ is an example of a television that shows the brand is not intending to stay in the shadow of the competition. Thanks to MiniLED technology, it has achieved a really high level of contrast and deep blacks. This is particularly noticeable in films – dark scenes look vivid, and bright elements in HDR stand out with intensity. Interestingly, the television supports many formats, including...

Hisense U7KQ with a size of 100" is clearly a better television compared to the smaller variants. The proprietary VIDAA system has a similar interface to other TVs (e.g., with Google TV onboard). It operates quickly and smoothly. It doesn't freeze or contain errors. The built-in media player sometimes had difficulties functioning, though. It's worth looking at the app test, as not all of them were...

The U7Q PRO is a TV that makes it clear within minutes: "speed is what matters here". Hisense has surprised us with how much they’ve packed into a device that doesn’t cost a fortune. A refresh rate of 165 Hz in 4K, and even 288 Hz in Full HD – not long ago, such figures were reserved exclusively for top-end gaming monitors. And here we have a mid-range TV with almost a full suite of features for g...

Hisense, even though it has only recently been operating in the Polish market, shows that it can create televisions that have a lot to offer. The model U7NQ stands out with excellent picture quality, thanks to Mini LED technology. The blacks look really good, and the brightness is impressive, which translates to enjoyable viewing both during the day and in the evening. Dolby Vision adds an extra e...

Hisense E8Q is a television that clearly draws heavily from the U7Q model – and that’s a great thing. After all, this is its European version, not another “slimmed down” mutation. After just a few moments with this screen, it’s clear that the E8Q is putting up a fight. And in many areas, it really succeeds. To start with – what impresses is that the blacks are deep, the contrast is high, and the b...

Hisense U7Q is one of the most interesting Mini-LED TVs in its price segment, clearly demonstrating that Hisense is starting to make a mark in the market not only through the price-to-performance ratio but also through increasingly refined picture quality. Let's start with what truly impresses: the contrast and black levels are at a level that was recently unattainable in this price range. Combine...

When looking at the Hisense E7NQ PRO in everyday use, it is immediately clear that this is a television designed with a wide audience in mind. The picture, while not immediately striking, gains a lot after proper calibration. The colours then appear more natural, and the brightness at around 500 cd/m² makes it easy to comfortably watch in a sunny living room. The wide viewing angles offered by the...

Hisense S7NQ Canvas TV is a very interesting option, especially for those who are looking for something in the style of a picture-TV but don't want to spend a fortune. At first glance, it stands out primarily because the gallery mode with artwork is completely free – there’s no subscription fee, unlike Samsung's The Frame. Moreover, the box includes a light brown frame right away, which will be an...

The Hisense E7Q PRO is a television that clearly shows where the manufacturer has placed its priorities. This is not a model focused on flashy HDR or cinematic fireworks in a dark lounge. It’s equipment tailored for universal use, with a strong emphasis on gaming and daily content streaming at a very attractive price point. The biggest disappointment remains the abandonment of local dimming compar...
