Anticipated like the start of the Monaco Grand Prix – a film about Formula 1 starring Brad Pitt has just shifted into another gear. A new trailer has appeared on the official F1 website, providing an even better insight into the production that motorsport fans have been talking about for months. And not without reason, as this project has smelled of petrol from the very beginning, and later of Hollywood ambition.
Real track, real emotions, Brad Pitt in a helmet
The film was shot on live Formula 1 tracks, including Silverstone. The on-track scenes were filmed not only during official Grand Prix weekends but also with the help of a real F1 technical team. What does this mean? That it won't be typical cinema CGI with green screens, but a wild ride with cameras mounted directly on the car. Pitt plays the role of a former driver who returns to the world of racing to help a young talent and an underappreciated team, "APXGP." The production is led by Joseph Kosinski, the director of "Top Gun: Maverick," so we can expect shots that will take your breath away.

Apple, F1 and Hollywood – a triple driving force
The film is produced by Apple Original Films, F1, and Brad Pitt's production team – Plan B Entertainment. This not only signifies a large budget but also an emphasis on authenticity. It is already being said that this could be the best motorsport film since "Rush" by Ron Howard.
The final teaser only whets the appetite ahead of the film's premiere, which is scheduled for 25th June 2025. The production is set to hit the big screens in IMAX cinemas, making every shot of the car sound like the roar of a V10 engine just behind you.
