Skyworth has unveiled a new premium TV series, the Natural Light Wallpaper TV QX. The models are available in 85- and 100-inch sizes, and the manufacturer claims a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. They also feature advanced Mini LED backlighting, an exceptionally slim design and a comprehensive Harman sound system.

23,000 zones and extreme brightness

The Skyworth QX TVs use OD-Mini LED technology, which allows the backlight to be placed very close to the panel. The manufacturer claims up to 23,040 independent colour control zones and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.

According to Skyworth, the screen also covers 103% of the BT.2020 colour space, although the company did not provide a detailed methodology for that measurement. It also uses dual AG and LR anti-reflective coatings and STW technology to improve viewing angles.

Slim casing and Harman sound

The QX design is reminiscent of Wallpaper-style TVs. The screen itself is only 2.7 cm thick, while the electronics and audio have been moved to a separate unit.

That unit houses a 6.2.2-channel audio system developed in collaboration with Harman. It uses 14 speaker drivers and offers a claimed peak output of 410 W. Smart TV functions are handled by the Coocaa AIOS system with AI-powered recommendations.

In China the 85-inch Skyworth QX is priced at 41,499 yuan, which is about 24,600 zł. The larger 100-inch variant is listed at 61,499 yuan, roughly 36,400 zł. Thanks to local subsidies prices could be around 890 zł lower. Availability of the TVs in Poland has not yet been confirmed.
