Sony unveiled the Prism collection, featuring transparent DualSense controllers and PlayStation 5 faceplates. The accessories will be available in three colors, and their look nods to the distinctive transparent devices of the 1990s. The company has already revealed prices and the release date.
Three colors and a transparent shell
The Prism collection includes three color variants: Flare Orange (orange), Emerald Green (green), and Graphite Gray (graphite).
The DualSense controllers feature a semi-transparent, glossy shell through which some internal components are visible. A similar finish was used on the PS5's interchangeable panels.
Sony says the inspiration came from transparent devices popular in the late 1990s. The new collection aims to refresh that style while keeping the PlayStation 5's distinctive look.
How much do the new accessories cost?
Transparent DualSense controllers are priced at €84.99, while the PS5 faceplates will cost €74.99.
Pre-orders will begin on November 10, 2026, and the official launch is scheduled for February 4, 2027.
The controllers will be available worldwide, while availability of the faceplates will be more limited. Poland is not on the list of countries with direct PlayStation sales, so details about local distribution are still pending.
