April 2026 is looking really solid for Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft has prepared a mix of different genres, from classic RPGs to dynamic roguelikes, as well as more niche indie productions. The line-up includes 8 games that will be added to the service gradually throughout the month.
The Biggest Premieres of the Month
The most talked-about title is undoubtedly Hades 2, which has generated immense interest since its announcement. The continuation of the hit from Supergiant Games aims to expand the well-known formula while adding new mechanics and a story. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, available in a Premium version from the beginning of the month, also attracts significant attention. This RPG features a very distinctive visual style that sets it apart from other productions. We can't overlook Final Fantasy IV, a classic of the genre that is once again available to players as part of a subscription. It's a great opportunity to catch up on one of the most iconic entries in the series.
The rest of the list is diversity above all
In April, a few interesting, less obvious titles will also appear. Replaced is a atmospheric production in a retro-futuristic style that has long attracted attention with its appearance. Additionally, there is Aphelion, which focuses on storytelling and the ambience of science fiction, as well as Vampire Crawlers, a more dynamic offering for action fans. The list also includes Kiln and Barbie Horse Trails, which target completely different groups of recipients and demonstrate how broad the Game Pass catalogue is today.
Complete Schedule of Dates
The start of the month brings two titles already on 2nd April: Barbie Horse Trails and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in Premium edition. On 7th April, Final Fantasy IV joins, and on 14th April it gets really interesting with the premiere of Hades 2 and Replaced. More games will appear on 21st, 23rd, and 28th April, completing the whole set.
