It seems that the requests of thousands (if not millions) of gamers have finally been heard. Although monitor manufacturers have stubbornly claimed for the past few years that OLED must be at least 27 inches, the latest leaks from Samsung Display's production plans suggest otherwise. According to information that has surfaced on Reddit and in Chinese industry websites, Samsung is finally preparing a 24-inch QD-OLED panel. For those with smaller desks who do not wish to switch to screens with a diagonal of 27 or 32 inches, this is the news of the year!
2026: Improved fonts and 240 Hz in 4K become a reality
This year, Samsung is focusing on refining what we already know. The most important novelty in this year's offer is a 34-inch model with a resolution of "U+", which finally addresses the biggest issue with these matrices. Thanks to the use of the RGB Stripe design, the image and fonts will finally be as sharp and clear as we expected. Additionally, in 4K (UHD) models, a refresh rate of 240 Hz is becoming standard, and the new AR3.0 screen coating aims to eliminate annoying reflections while maintaining deep blacks.
2027: The Year of the 24-Inch "Holy Grail"
A true revolution in sizes awaits us next year. According to the leak, in 2027 completely new matrices will go into production: 24 and 39 inches. This smaller model is, for some reason, the Holy Grail for many players (probably for e-sports titles). As with OLED, we can expect perfect black levels and incredible speed in a format that fits on any desk. The new panels are expected to offer brightness up to 600 nits.
How much will you pay for a 24-inch OLED?
Although we still have to wait for the official prices, speculations are already underway on Reddit. Fans hope that the smaller size will allow the price to drop below 450 dollars. If these predictions prove accurate, we could expect a price in Poland of around 1500–1600 złotych.
