This weekend, from 24th to 26th October, Poznań will once again become the capital of Polish gaming. The biggest gaming fair in this part of Europe, Poznań Game Arena 2025, is starting. We test televisions on a daily basis, but we know perfectly well that for many of you, it is the world of games that takes priority. This year's edition of PGA promises to be the ideal testing ground for the latest screens – and more. The organisers have focused this year on a vast diversity, but a few programme points capture attention more than others.
Gothic 1 Remake – this cannot be missed
For thousands of Polish players, this will probably be the most important moment of the entire fair. On the main stage, Gothic 1 Remake will be presented! It is one of the most anticipated games in Poland, and every new piece of information about the return to the Penitentiary Colony electrifies fans. The opportunity to see the game in action, perhaps learning new details from the creators, is an absolute "must-see" of this year's event.
Surprise: Gaming is entering the automotive industry
The second big surprise is the presence of a new Chinese car brand Omoda. The company is set to present its idea of integrating the world of gaming... with its cars. We do not yet know whether this involves an advanced infotainment system, cloud gaming while parked, or something entirely different, but we are extremely curious to see how this will be resolved. It demonstrates how deeply virtual entertainment is already permeating every area of our lives.
Vast diversity, or the essence of PGA
This year's PGA is not just about these two highlights. The fair, as every year, will offer a gigantic range of attractions, confirming its position as a leader in the region. Participants can count on:
Game and equipment premieres: This is the perfect opportunity to see the premiere and pre-premiere shows, play the latest productions (especially from the impressive international indie zone) and test the latest gaming equipment. There will be over 1,000 gaming stations available at the fair.
Esports excitement: Guests can look forward to fierce contests as part of m.in. The Polish Esports League. Tournaments will be held for hits such as Counter Strike, Tekken, and even... Deluxe Ski Jump.
Meetings and Cosplay: The fair is, of course, about people. Favourite streamers and YouTubers will appear at the PGA, with the highlight being the Sunday PGA Cosplay Show competition on the Main Stage.
Return to the roots: For fans of older titles, there will be an extensive Retro Zone, where one can play classics such as Amiga or NES.
