Sapphire enters the Mini PC market with powerful AMD Ryzen AI chips!

Calendar 10/31/2025

Sapphire enters the Mini PC market! The EDGE AI series with AMD Ryzen AI 300 (Zen5) delivers up to 50 TOPS of power in a compact 117×111×30 mm chassis.

It seems that miniature computers are the new trend that is just starting to gain momentum – especially since artificial intelligence has entered the scene. Now, Sapphire is joining the fray, a brand primarily known for its proprietary Radeon cards, but increasingly venturing beyond GPUs. After the launch of its own motherboards, it's time for the next step – Mini PC from the EDGE AI series, designed for working with AI and performance in a compact form.

AMD Ryzen AI 300 and Zen5 Architecture in a Pocket Size

The new Sapphire EDGE AI Mini PC measures just 117 × 111 × 30 mm, but it hides plenty of power inside. The manufacturer focuses on AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, which are the latest units based on the Zen5 architecture, equipped with NPU with a performance of up to 50 TOPS. There will be three variants to choose from:

  • Ryzen AI 5 340 (6C/12T, up to 4.8 GHz) – approx. £2199

  • Ryzen AI 7 350 (8C/16T, up to 5.0 GHz) – approx. £2669

  • Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (12C/24T, up to 5.1 GHz) – approx. £3179

Each model offers an integrated Radeon 800M chip, support for up to 96 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM, and two SSD slots – M.2 2280 and M.2 2242. These are of course barebone sets, so RAM and SSD need to be selected separately.

Complete I/O and connectivity of the latest generation

As befits premium-class hardware, at the back there are 2× HDMI 2.1, 2× USB 4.0 C, 4× USB 3.2 Gen 2 A, RJ-45, audio port, and in addition Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. In other words – everything you need for work, cloud gaming or AI computations. The mini PC from Sapphire is set to hit stores in Europe within the coming weeks. If prices are confirmed in Polish stores, EDGE AI 340 for around 2199 PLN could turn out to be one of the cheapest ways to enter the world of Ryzen AI and Zen5.
