Samsung has just arrived in Poland with a new gadget that could redefine what a projector really is. The Premiere 5 is not just an ordinary film projector — it is interactive equipment that turns a wall into a touch screen measuring as much as 100 inches. And all of this in Full HD with a laser heart.
Not a projector, but a laser beast
Inside sits a triple laser that provides coverage of 154% of the DCI-P3 palette. In practice? The colours are so vivid and pure that OLEDs might turn red with envy. The image is as sharp as a razor, and thanks to the Vision Booster, the projector analyses the light in the room and automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast. So regardless of whether you're watching a film with a light on or in full sunlight – the image always looks just right.
And most importantly: ultra-short throw. There's no need to rearrange the room. Just place The Premiere 5 right up against the wall to enjoy a screen that's a hundred inches in size.
AI Game Mode and 32:9 Panorama
Samsung has also taken care of gamers. The projector automatically detects whether you are launching an FPS or an RPG, and adjusts the settings thanks to AI Game Mode. But that’s not all — the Player Panel allows you to change the image aspect ratio to 21:9 or even 32:9. If your game supports ultra-wide formats, you’ll see significantly more than your opponent on a classic screen. For multiplayer fans – a total cheat in legal form.
Touch Image – something that has never existed before
The most futuristic gadget? Interactive surface.
After connecting a special touch base (included in the set!), the image becomes touch-sensitive. An IR camera and laser track hand movements – you can control applications, move elements, conduct presentations, and even play simple games by touching the image itself.
It's a bit like a tablet on the wall… only a hundred inches bigger.
Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony
The sound? It’s also on point. Dolby Atmos plus the OTS Lite system create a spatial effect without additional speakers. If you have a Samsung soundbar, you can turn on Q-Symphony – then the sound from the soundbar and the projector works together as one home cinema system. On top of that comes the Active Voice Amplifier Pro. The AI detects background noise (e.g., a blender, a neighbour with a drill) and automatically boosts the volume of dialogues. A small detail, but a huge difference in everyday use.
SmartThings, AirPlay 2 and Ambient Mode
The Premiere 5 is not just a projector – it is a home control centre.
With a built-in SmartThings hub, you can manage smart lighting, blinds and speakers. It also works with Apple AirPlay 2, so you can stream from your iPhone with just a tap. When you’re not watching films, Ambient Mode transforms the wall into a photo gallery or a minimalist screen with graphics. An ideal solution when you don’t want a large white wall ruining the atmosphere of your interior.
Zero cables, zero batteries
Setting up is a breeze: the projector automatically aligns the image (auto keystone) and sets the focus in just a few seconds. In the package, you receive a SolarCell remote, which charges with light — no more batteries.
