Samsung showcases modern hotel televisions. It is more than just a regular Smart TV.

Samsung is increasingly developing the hotel television segment, which remains a somewhat niche but very important market for many. The company has demonstrated how the new Samsung Hotel TV and the LYNK Cloud platform work, aimed at completely changing the way a television is used in a hotel room. It is no longer just a screen for watching TV channels, but a hub for managing hotel services and guest entertainment.

Hotel TVs work quite differently from regular Smart TVs

Samsung explains that modern hotel televisions have special software specifically designed for hotel rooms and other accommodation spaces. Guests can check the hotel's offerings from the television, order food, access the facility's services, or obtain key information without needing to contact reception. The system also supports Google Cast and Apple AirPlay technologies, allowing users to easily stream their own movies, music, or series from their smartphone or laptop without the need to log into personal accounts on the hotel television. Samsung strongly emphasises the security and simplicity of the entire solution.

ChooseTV Cloud allows hotels to analyse guest behaviours

The key element of the system is the ChooseTV Cloud platform, which enables hotels to manage all televisions and content from a single location. Managers can remotely control device settings, displayed messages, or available services without the need to visit each room individually. Samsung also boasts analytical features based on Business Intelligence. The system can analyse which channels guests watch most frequently, which services they choose, and which items from the hotel menu are the most popular. This allows hotels to better tailor their offerings to customers and improve the guest experience.

Samsung demonstrates that hotel televisions have today become advanced guest service centres. Thanks to Hotel TV and LYNK Cloud, hotels can not only offer entertainment but also manage services, analyse customer behaviours, and automate many processes.
