Samsung Electronics has unveiled its Odyssey monitor line for 2026, clearly demonstrating that it does not intend to slow down in the high-end gaming segment. The new series includes five models that set records in both resolution and refresh rate. Among them is the world's first 6K monitor with glasses-free 3D imaging and a screen that achieves up to 1,040 Hz.
According to Samsung, these are designs tailored for the most demanding gamers and creators - where image quality, absolute responsiveness, and a new level of immersion are essential.
Odyssey 3D (G90XH) - 6K and true 3D without glasses
The biggest novelty across the entire line is the 32-inch Odyssey 3D (model G90XH). It is the world's first gaming monitor offering a 6K resolution (6,144 x 3,456) with a 3D effect without the need for glasses.
The three-dimensional effect is achieved through a combination of real-time eye tracking and dynamic perspective correction. The image responds to the user's position, creating a sense of depth and separation of objects without interrupting gameplay. The monitor operates at a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and in Dual Mode, it allows for an increase to 330 Hz in 3K.
Samsung also announces cooperation with game developers for native optimisation of 3D effects. Supported titles include, among others, The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture and Stellar Blade.
Odyssey G6 (G60H) - e-sport 1,040 Hz
The Odyssey G6 is a 27-inch monitor designed for e-sports competition. With Dual Mode, it is the first in the world to achieve 1,040 Hz, while maintaining a native QHD resolution with a refresh rate of up to 600 Hz.
Such specifications ensure maximum motion fluidity and minimal latency, which are crucial in fast-paced online games. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, guaranteeing a stable image without tearing.
Odyssey G8 - three approaches to high resolution
The Odyssey G8 series was significantly expanded in 2026 and includes three models, differing in resolution and panel technology:
Odyssey G8 (G80HS) - 32-inch 6K monitor with native 165 Hz and Dual Mode up to 330 Hz in 3K, aimed at users combining gaming with creative work.
Odyssey G8 (G80HF) - 27-inch 5K (5,120 x 2,880) variant with 180 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz in QHD.
Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) - 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor with 240 Hz, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, Glare Free coating, and DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) with bandwidth up to 80 Gb/s.
All G8 models support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible.
