Samsung has been the leader in the commercial display market for 17 consecutive years.

Calendar 3/19/2026

Although most of us associate Samsung mainly with phones and televisions in the living room, this company has been dominating a place we rarely think about for 17 years – on our streets, in shops, and at airports. The Korean giant has just announced that it has once again become number one in the world for the production of commercial screens. This means that for nearly two decades, no one has been able to dethrone them. Similarly, the situation is the same in the market for traditional televisions, where they have been number one for 20 years.

Screens You See Every Day, but Don't Realise

Have you ever wondered who produces those large, bright menus, for example, in places like McDonald's, massive screens in stadiums, or departure boards at airports? In one in three such cases, it's Samsung. The company has dominated public spaces to such an extent that we encounter their screens almost everywhere we go. From interactive displays in shopping malls to modern information boards in offices. These are not ordinary televisions. These panels must operate 24 hours a day, shine directly in the sun, and must not fail for years.

What Awaits Us in 2026?

Samsung does not intend to slow down. They are now focusing on Micro LED technology, which allows for screens that can be assembled like Lego blocks. You can create a display of any size and shape – from the size of an entire wall in a luxurious apartment to transparent panels that look like ordinary glass until you turn them on. If there is a large, glowing screen hanging somewhere in your city, the chances are that it is backed by Samsung.
