Revolution in eSIM. It has never been so easy.

Calendar 2/10/2026

Changing a phone from eSIM has so far been more cumbersome than with a traditional SIM card. Now the situation is starting to change, as T-Mobile is the first operator in Poland to provide a feature that simplifies the entire process. Android smartphone users can transfer their eSIM to a new device independently, without visits to the store and additional formalities. Initially, the solution works on phones from a single manufacturer, but the operator promises quick expansion of support to other brands using the Google system.

End of problems with eSIM.

According to reports from spidersweb, transferring a physical SIM card to a new phone is ridiculously simple, which could not be said about eSIM until recently. It usually involved additional steps, such as contacting the operator, generating a new profile, or reconfiguration. The level of difficulty depended on the specific operator and the solutions they used.

T-Mobile has decided to simplify this process by enabling self-transfer of eSIM directly on Android. The entire operation takes place from the settings of the new phone and only requires confirmation on the old device. Currently, the feature works on Google Pixel smartphones, but the operator is planning to quickly expand it to selected Samsung models and other Android devices.
