If you’re wondering what to play in the coming days, Xbox has prepared a really strong week of releases. From 13th to 17th April, several new titles will be appearing, ranging from large and highly anticipated productions to indie games, as well as quieter and more niche projects. The most important thing is that everyone will find something for themselves, whether you’re looking for dynamic action, an atmospheric story, or something more relaxing.
Hades II and Pragmata are the biggest launches of the week that could attract the most players
The biggest star of this week is undoubtedly Hades II, the sequel to one of the best roguelikes in recent years. The game expands on everything that worked in the first installment: fast-paced, dynamic gameplay, great style, and enormous replayability, but adds a larger world and a new story set in mythology. Alongside this, we have Pragmata from Capcom, which aims for more ambitious science fiction with an emphasis on narrative and atmosphere. It's one of those productions that could surprise if they deliver on their vision.
The rest of the releases showcase a vast diversity from shooters to calm indie games and simulators
Apart from the biggest titles, we receive a truly wide range of games from the atmospheric FPS Mouse: P.I. For Hire, inspired by 1930s cartoons, through the dark horror Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, to more relaxing productions like Find My Frogs and Magic Sheep. Additionally, there are simulators, puzzle games, and niche projects that often manage to pleasantly surprise with fresh ideas. This shows that Xbox strongly focuses on diversity, not only in major releases but also in smaller titles that can appeal to very specific players and their tastes.
This is one of those weeks where it's not just about one hit, but a whole bunch of diverse releases that together create a very strong offering. If you have Game Pass or are simply looking for something new, there is definitely plenty to choose from.
