There is still a lack of good 5K and 6K monitors on the market, but Acer intends to change that. The new ProCreator PE0 series will include models for both graphic designers and video creators – with resolutions from 5K to 6K, including OLED alternatives with 240 Hz.
6K like Apple, but without local dimming?
Acer is making a grand entrance into the premium monitor market. The new ProCreator PE0 line is designed for those who do not accept compromises – 6K, 5K, QD-OLED, and OLED in all their glory. Leading the pack is the PE320QXT, a 32-inch giant with a resolution of 6016 × 3384 pixels – exactly the same as in the Apple Pro Display XDR, though without local dimming LED. Next to it is the PE270XT with a 5K screen (5120 × 2880), created for editors and graphic designers who need perfect visibility of every detail.
Both models offer 99% coverage of AdobeRGB and DCI-P3, Delta E < 1, DisplayHDR 600 certification, and in addition, a touch interface, an 8 MP camera for video conferencing, and an adjustable ErgoStand base that allows you to position the screen exactly as you wish. These are not just gimmicks – they are a set of tools that genuinely enhance work comfort.
However, don’t be misled by claims about HDR – due to the IPS LCD panels, these monitors shine primarily in SDR, where accuracy matters rather than flashiness. And this is where they truly excel.
OLED also available – QD-OLED 240 Hz and mobile OLED 16"
In the same line, there will also be a model with a QD-OLED 4K (10-bit, 240 Hz) screen – ProCreator PE320QK X. For mobile users, Acer has prepared a 16-inch PE160WU OLED with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz – perfect for working in the field.
