Don't have any plans for the evening? Prime Video regularly adds new films and series to its library that can draw you in from the first few minutes. Instead of browsing the catalogue for hours, I've selected three productions that are really worth watching over the weekend.
Reacher
If you like action with a no-nonsense hero who speaks little but does a lot, this is spot on. Reacher is a series based on Lee Child's novels, in which a former soldier finds himself in a small town and quickly uncovers a conspiracy. The series stands out for its brutal, realistic action and excellent pacing. It's the perfect choice for a weekend binge-watch.
The Boys
Superheroes, but without the sugar coating. The Boys shows a world where heroes are corrupt, debauched and dangerous. The series does not shy away from brutality, satire and political undertones. It is one of the strongest productions on Prime Video in recent years and a great choice if you’re in the mood for something edgier than classic comic book cinema.
Road House
The new version of the cult classic from the 80s, Road House with Jake Gyllenhaal, is a dynamic action film full of brawls and adrenaline. The film is perfect for a Friday night when you just want to have a good time without too much thinking.
