Today it is one of the largest television manufacturers in the world, which has firmly established itself here as well. In sales rankings, it occupies increasingly higher positions, and in the offers of large stores, we can easily find dozens of models – from basic ones to more advanced constructions.
From the very beginning, Hisense has consistently built its position, focusing primarily on LCD TVs with Mini-LED backlighting. And it must be admitted – they do this wisely. Although we won't find OLED models here (at least in our market), the range of Mini-LED models is very broad, well thought out, and targets various price segments. Thanks to this, you can find something for both the home cinema enthusiast and for a smaller room, where cost-effectiveness is the main consideration.

What sets the Hisense U8NQ apart from the competition is its almost astronomical number of backlight zones. In the 65-inch version, we counted as many as 1600 – which translates to a phenomenal black level for an LCD TV. A large number of zones not only means better contrast – it also contributes to very high brightness. In ideal conditions, the U8NQ can squeeze out even 2000 nits, making it suitable for a bright lounge, even with sun-filled windows. In Europe, this model operates on the VIDAA system, which performs quite well. It has plenty of features, operates quickly, and is one of the few that still allows for recording programs from the built-in tuner directly onto a USB stick. There is no shortage of apps, although it is a closed system, so you won't find everything here. When it comes to image fluidity, Hisense does not disappoint. The 144 Hz panel, support for VRR and ALLM, and low input lag – all of this means that the TV excels not only with films but also with gaming. (However, one must consider the lack of HGiG implementation.) The Hisense U8NQ is a TV that competes confidently with much more expensive models from other brands. It has its minor shortcomings but offers such good picture quality and functionality that it is hard to find a better offer at this price.

Hisense U7NQ is a television that excels as a "goldilocks option" – it offers most of the advantages of the more expensive U8NQ, but at a significantly lower price. We still have Mini-LED backlighting, very good contrast, and support for HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, which enhances the picture quality in movies and series.
The U7NQ has slightly fewer zones than the U8NQ, but the picture still makes a good impression – blacks are deep, and HDR looks quite decent. The television supports 144 Hz, so motion smoothness is at a high level – both when watching sports and gaming. Additionally, it features VRR and ALLM technologies, which will be appreciated by owners of PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. On board, we again find the VIDAA system, which operates smoothly, is intuitive, and supports the most important applications.
U7NQ is a television for those who want something solid for everything – movies, sports, games – without having to pay extra for the top model. The U7NQ is a very sensible choice for those who want a good Mini-LED television but don’t necessarily need the absolute maximum brightness and contrast. It is one of the 3 most cost-effective MINI-LED televisions on the market along with the Samsung QN85D and TCL C765 (MQLED85).

U6NQ is one of the few Mini-LED TVs on the market that features a panel with a refresh rate of 4K at 60 Hz. At first glance, it might seem like a disadvantage – but nothing could be further from the truth. Hisense has implemented a “hybrid” panel that, when reducing the resolution (e.g., to Full HD), can operate with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This is a great alternative for consoles – including the latest ones, which rarely achieve full 4K at 120 frames.
Thanks to this, you pay less and gain more – you adjust the TV to real demand, without overpaying for features that you may not use anyway. Of course, it can't be compared to more expensive models like U7NQ or U8NQ – but in its price segment, it performs excellently. Especially since it often costs as much as a regular LCD TV without local dimming and with a typical 60 Hz.

Hisense A7NQ is the entry-level model from the manufacturer, but it definitely deserves attention. Here we have a QLED VA panel that provides quite decent contrast and black levels, especially for a TV in this price range. Of course, it’s not up to the Mini-LED level of more expensive models, but for everyday viewing – it performs very well.
An interesting addition is the use of a hybrid panel mode – this means that at lower resolutions (e.g. Full HD) the TV can operate at a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For many people, this is a nice bonus that increases the comfort of watching dynamic content such as sports or action shows. Onboard, we find the reliable VIDAA system, which operates quickly, has an intuitive menu, and allows program recording to USB. Although not all apps are available, it is quite sufficient for basic usage.
Hisense A7NQ is a very budget-friendly option for everyday viewing, ideal as the main TV in a smaller lounge or as a second screen in the home.
*It’s worth noting the price comparison with the U6NQ model. If the difference turns out to be small, we definitely recommend considering paying extra for Mini-LED – the gain in picture quality will be noticeable.
Hisense – best TVs on sale
Hisense is a brand that is steadily making its mark in the TV market year after year – and I must admit, it’s doing so quite effectively. The models from the 2024 range have performed really well, offering interesting technical solutions at very affordable prices. Of course, this selection lacks models that could directly compete with the pricier Korean or Japanese constructions. But Hisense aims elsewhere – in a more human, reasonable price range. And that’s where it excels.
