TCL CSOT has announced the DTC 2026 conference, set for 13 November in Wuhan, China. The company plans to showcase its latest achievements in printed OLED display technology, solutions from the APEX family and applications of artificial intelligence. Particular attention is being paid to the development of IJP OLED panels, which could in future change how monitors and other displays are manufactured.

Printed OLEDs edging closer to mass production

One of the event's key topics will be IJP OLED (Inkjet Printing OLED) technology. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods, it uses inkjet printing to apply organic light-emitting materials. This approach allows for more efficient use of materials, which could lead to lower screen production costs.

TCL CSOT has been developing this technology for more than a decade and is gradually preparing it for larger-scale production. The company recently began installing equipment at its T8 factory in Guangzhou. The plant is expected to produce mainly panels for monitors, laptops and tablets, with mass production scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Not just OLED. TCL is also betting on AI

At the conference the manufacturer will also present solutions from the APEX platform, focusing on picture quality, visual comfort and new display designs. An important part of the event will also be AI applications in the development of screens and in user interactions with devices.

DTC 2026 could therefore show the direction TCL intends to take its display technologies. However, detailed information about the new solutions will have to wait until 13 November. The manufacturer has not yet announced specific models or their release dates.
