YouTube TV is introducing one of the most anticipated changes to its service. The Multiview feature, which allows you to watch multiple channels at the same time, is no longer limited to selected broadcasts and is starting to offer much greater flexibility.
End of Sports Restrictions
Until now, Multiview was mainly used during sporting events and only offered specific channel sets prepared by the platform. Now, the situation is changing as users are starting to receive the opportunity to choose channels on their own. The new version of the feature allows for combining different content in one view, from sports to news, and even movies and series. There are also new sections that help quickly select interesting channels, significantly improving usability.
Greater control for the user
The biggest change is indeed the control. Users no longer have to rely on preset layouts; they can now decide for themselves what they want to watch simultaneously. This is particularly useful in situations where you're following multiple events at once or simply want more choice without constantly switching channels. The feature is available from the remote and is gradually rolling out, so not all users see it just yet. However, it seems that full implementation is just a matter of time.
