Xiaomi has launched a new gaming monitor, the Redmi G25 2027, on the Chinese market. The device features a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel, Full HD resolution and a native 300 Hz refresh rate. The biggest surprise, however, is the price — just 799 yuan, or about PLN 470.
300 Hz, 1 ms and DisplayHDR 400
The Redmi G25 2027 uses a Fast IPS panel with a 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. The manufacturer specifies a 1 ms GtG response time, 400 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor also offers 100% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3 coverage, and holds a DisplayHDR 400 certification.
It includes AMD FreeSync Premium to help reduce screen tearing, and a Dynamic Overdrive feature that automatically adjusts pixel response times to the frame rate. Players can also use an on-screen crosshair and a dark-area brightening feature.
Connections and availability
The monitor is fitted with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a headphone jack. Full 300 Hz refresh rate is available over DisplayPort, while HDMI supports up to 240 Hz at Full HD. One limitation is the stand, which only allows tilt adjustment. However, a VESA 75 × 75 mm mount is available.
The Redmi G25 2027 is already available in China for 799 yuan (about 470 zł). So far Xiaomi has not confirmed a release date or price in Poland.
