XGIMI has launched two new projectors on the Japanese market: the Elfin Flip Pro (New) and the Nova Air. The first features a three-colour laser light source that significantly increases image brightness. The second is a compact, more affordable option for watching films at home.
Elfin Flip Pro (New) with Nichia RGB laser and Google TV
The biggest new feature in the Elfin Flip Pro (New) is the use of a tricolour RGB laser from Nichia. Thanks to it, the claimed brightness has risen from 400 to 1000 ISO lumens, around 2.5 times that of its predecessor.
The projector offers Full HD resolution, an image up to 200 inches diagonal and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1. It also retains a rotating base with 150° adjustment, allowing projection onto a wall or ceiling. Auto focus and geometry correction make setup easier.
It also comes with Google TV, giving access to Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. The casing is just 7.5 cm thick and the unit weighs 1.33 kg.
Nova Air – smaller and cheaper projector
The second model, the Nova Air, uses LCD technology with LED backlight. It offers Full HD, a brightness of 250 ISO lumens and can project an image up to 150 inches.
The projector weighs 1.2 kg and has a 300° rotating base. Compared with the standard Nova, the battery has been removed, so the unit needs to be plugged into the mains. It also features JBL speakers with a total output of 6 W and the XGIMI OS system.
Prices and availability
The Elfin Flip Pro (New) costs in Japan 99,800 yen (about 2,500 zł), while the Nova Air is priced at 36,900 yen (about 920 zł).
Both projectors have been available in Japan since 30 October 2026. So far XGIMI has not confirmed dates for their release on the Polish market.
