Microsoft has announced a new platform called Xbox Player Voice, which aims to simplify the feedback process for players and show what happens to their suggestions after submission.
Xbox wants to improve communication with players
Microsoft admits that many users previously did not know what happened to their feedback after submitting ideas or issues related to Xbox. The new Xbox Player Voice platform aims to change that. Players will not only be able to submit suggestions but also track the status of their submissions and check whether their ideas are being considered by the Xbox teams. However, the company emphasises that not every proposal will necessarily be implemented. Microsoft primarily wants to increase the transparency of the entire process.
ChooseTV Player Voice replaces the Xbox Cloud Gaming portal
The new solution takes over the role of the previous feedback system for Xbox Cloud Gaming. At the same time, Microsoft emphasises that ChooseTV Player Voice is meant to work alongside other social tools, such as the Xbox Insider Hub, support forums, or Xbox social media. The platform is expected to evolve continuously with further user feedback and changes in the Xbox ecosystem.
Xbox has been strongly developing testing and community programs for years. The company regularly utilises player feedback when updating consoles, Game Pass, or system features. This new project could be another step towards a more open development of the platform and better communication between Microsoft and the Xbox community.
