Philips expands its range with two affordable monitors that may interest both gamers and people looking for a screen for everyday work. The 27E3C2500 and 32E3C2500 models feature curved VA panels, QHD resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Prices in Poland start from just PLN 649.
Two sizes, the same resolution
The new Philips monitors feature VA panels with diagonals of 27 and 31.5 inches, a 1500R curvature and a 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution. Both offer a 144 Hz refresh rate, Adaptive-Sync and a claimed 0.5 ms MPRT response time, achieved in a special blur reduction mode. The standard response time is 4 ms GtG.
The manufacturer specifies a brightness of 300 nits and HDR10 support, although at those figures you shouldn't expect particularly impressive HDR. The smaller model offers a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and 95.62% DCI-P3 coverage, while the larger one is 3000:1 and 83.44%.
HDMI 2.1 and Polish prices
The monitors come with HDMI 2.1 (TMDS), DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone output and two speakers rated at 2 W each. They also include SoftBlue and Flicker-Free technologies. A limitation is the stand, which only allows tilt adjustment, but the monitors support VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting.
The Philips 27E3C2500 will go on sale in Poland later in October with a recommended price of 649 zł. The larger 32E3C2500 arrives in November, priced at 829 zł.
These are offerings primarily for people looking for a versatile monitor for work, movies and occasional gaming without spending a lot of money.
