Calendar 2/18/2026

Streaming platforms are speeding up again. In recent weeks, productions have emerged that quickly made it to the TOP 10 and sparked plenty of discussion online. Netflix is going for spectacular sci-fi, Prime Video is focusing on brutal action, Disney+ is expanding iconic universes, and Apple TV+ is adding ambitious thrillers. If you don't know what to watch in the evening, below are four strong suggestions from different platforms. Each one represents a completely different genre.

Netflix - 3 Body Problem

A spectacular adaptation of the iconic science fiction novel. The series tells the story of humanity's contact with an alien civilisation and the consequences that could change the future of Earth. A large budget, global scale, and production by the creators of "Game of Thrones" make it one of Netflix's most ambitious premieres.

Prime Video - Road House

A new version of the cult action film from the 80s, this time starring Jake Gyllenhaal in the leading role. The story of a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer in a bar in Florida quickly turns into a brutal confrontation with the local underworld. Dynamic fight scenes and a strongly contemporary tone.

Disney+ – The Bear (Season 3)

One of the highest-rated series in recent years returns with another season. “The Bear” tells the story of a young chef trying to save the family restaurant while also getting his own life in order. It’s not a classic cooking show; it’s an intense drama about pressure, ambition, and interpersonal relationships. The dynamic editing, great dialogue, and tense atmosphere make each episode feel like a thriller.

Apple TV+ – Masters of the Air

War blockbuster from the creators of "Band of Brothers". The series focuses on American bomber pilots during World War II. Large scale, realistic scenes of aerial battles, and high production quality are the hallmark of this production.
