Apple may be preparing one of the biggest changes in Siri's history. The latest reports indicate that in iOS 27, the assistant may begin to collaborate with external AI tools, giving users significantly greater control. This is a step that could completely change the way we use the iPhone.
Siri with access to external AI
According to leaks, Siri is set to receive support for applications using AI. This means that users could assign specific tasks to different tools, such as ChatGPT or Claude. Instead of being one system, Siri would become something like an “AI management hub”.
The new system would be based on special APIs for applications. After installing the AI tool, users could decide what it will be used for.
