Samsung has just arrived in Poland with a new gadget that could redefine what a projector actually is. The Premiere 5 is not just an ordinary movie projector — it's an interactive device that turns a wall into a touch screen with a diagonal of up to 100 inches. And all of this in Full HD with a laser heart.
Not a projector, but a laser beast
Inside it sits a triple laser that provides coverage of 154% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. In practice? The colours are so vibrant and pure that OLEDs would blush. The image is as sharp as a razor, and thanks to the Vision Booster, the projector analyses the light in the room and adjusts brightness and contrast automatically. So, whether you're watching a movie with a light on or in full sunshine – the image always looks as it should.
And most importantly: ultra-short throw. There's no need to rearrange the room. Just place The Premiere 5 right against the wall to enjoy a screen size of one hundred inches.
AI Game Mode and 32:9 Aspect Ratio
Samsung has also taken care of gamers. The projector automatically detects whether you’re launching an FPS or a role-playing game, and adjusts the settings thanks to AI Game Mode. But that’s not all — Player Panel allows you to change the aspect ratio to 21:9 or even 32:9. If your game supports ultra-wide formats, you’ll see significantly more than your opponent on a traditional screen. For multiplayer fans – a total cheat in a legal way.
Touchscreen Image – Something That’s Never Been Seen Before
The most futuristic gadget? Interactive Surface.
After connecting the special touch base (included in the package!), the image becomes touch-sensitive. The IR camera and laser track the movement of your hand – you can control apps, move elements, conduct presentations, and even play simple games by touching the image itself.
It’s a bit like a tablet on the wall… just a hundred inches bigger.
Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony
Sound? It's at a high level too. Dolby Atmos plus the OTS Lite system create a spatial effect without additional speakers. If you have a Samsung soundbar, you can activate Q-Symphony – then the sound from the soundbar and projector works together like one home theatre system. Added to this is the Active Voice Amplifier Pro. AI detects background noise (e.g., blender, neighbour with a drill) and automatically boosts dialogue volume. A small detail, but a huge difference in daily use.
SmartThings, AirPlay 2 and Ambient Mode
The Premiere 5 is not just a projector – it’s a home control centre.
With the built-in SmartThings hub, you can manage smart lighting, blinds and speakers. It also works with Apple AirPlay 2, allowing you to stream from your iPhone with just a tap. When you’re not watching movies, Ambient Mode transforms the wall into a photo gallery or a minimalist art display. It’s the perfect solution when you don’t want a big white wall ruining the vibe of your interior.
Zero cables, zero batteries
Setup is a breeze: the projector automatically aligns the image (auto keystone) and focuses in just a few seconds. In the box, you get a SolarCell remote that charges from light — no more batteries.
