Samsung isn't slowing down when it comes to expanding its sports offering. The company has just announced the global launch of the official SQUASHTV app on all its Smart TVs — from models from this year to many older versions with Tizen. This is another step towards a stronger focus on sports on the big screen. In recent months, Samsung has also added FloSports in the USA and RugbyPass in TV Plus in the USA and the UK. Now the same is happening with squash.
ChooseTV on Samsung TV – what does it offer?
The ChooseTV app is the official platform of the Professional Squash Association (PSA). On Samsung TVs, it will provide access to:
over 2,000 matches live and on demand,
events from 35 PSA Squash Tour tournaments in the 2025/26 season,
extended highlights,
expert analyses,
interviews, podcasts and behind-the-scenes content.
Fans will get not only streams but also a full range of content that allows them to get to know the players better, their preparations, the behind-the-scenes of competitions, and the stories of entering the world of squash. This is a big step for the sport, which, thanks to Samsung, is reaching screens in millions of homes around the world.
Samsung: more sport for free
Dan Harvie, VP of the TV division Samsung UK & Ireland, announces that the addition of SQUASHTV perfectly fits into the company's strategy:
“With free access to sport – squash, American football, rugby, wrestling, or women's football – we give users the opportunity to personalise content and added value alongside premium visuals.”
Samsung is indeed heavily investing in free sports content, and it seems like they are just getting started.
Good time to buy a TV? Black Friday speaks for itself
If someone is planning to replace their television – Samsung subtly suggests that now is the best time. Most of the manufacturer's models are heavily discounted this week, and the promotions also include Mini-LEDs, OLEDs, and cheaper models from the Crystal line.
