PlayStation Plus Premium continues to grow as a service reminiscent of Netflix for gamers, offering access to hundreds of games under one subscription. However, in April 2026, the situation is quite unusual, as Sony has not yet announced new titles for this month. Despite this, the library is already massive and includes games from many console generations. From classics to the latest releases, the offering is truly broad. This means that even without fresh releases, there is plenty to play.
News in April? So far, it's quiet
Sony has not yet revealed the list of new games for PlayStation Plus Premium, Extra, and Essential for April 2026. Usually, new titles are announced in the middle of the month, so it's possible that the announcement is still ahead of us. For now, however, players need to be patient. The lack of new announcements doesn't mean boredom, as the PS Plus catalogue is enormous. Among the available titles, we find games like God of War Ragnarök, Cyberpunk 2077, and Horizon Forbidden West. Additionally, there are productions like Grand Theft Auto V, Returnal, and Demon's Souls. This shows how vast the offer is, ranging from blockbusters to smaller projects.
One of the biggest advantages of Premium is access to games from different generations. You can play titles from PS1, PS2, PSP, or even PS3 through streaming. This makes the service not just for new games, but also for those who want to revisit classics or catch up on older productions.
Ubisoft+ and External Games
As part of the subscription, a selected portion of the Ubisoft+ catalogue is also available, which further expands the offering with third-party games. This is important as PS Plus is not limited to Sony titles alone but provides access to a wide market. At this moment, April looks to be quiet, but that could change quickly. Sony typically announces new games in advance, so the list should appear soon. In the meantime, users can take advantage of the huge library that already offers hundreds of hours of gameplay.
