PlayStation Plus in April adds strong games and one of Sony's biggest hits returns.

Calendar 4/16/2026

Sony unveils the PlayStation Plus offerings for April, and this time it’s hard to speak of disappointment. The catalogue features several major titles that may attract fans of racing, RPGs, strategy, and action games. The biggest impression is made by the return of one of Sony's most important exclusives in a refreshed version, but this is just the beginning.

Big Hits and a Return of Aloy

At the forefront is Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, an enhanced version of the iconic game featuring Aloy as the main character. Improved visuals and refined gameplay elements make it the perfect time to revisit this world or catch up on what you've missed. Alongside this is The Crew Motorfest, which offers a massive open world inspired by Hawaii and hundreds of vehicles to choose from. For sports fans, there’s Football Manager 26 Console, which introduces even more sophisticated matches and a licensed Premier League. Meanwhile, those seeking dynamic action can dive into Warriors: Abyss, a roguelite filled with battles against hordes of enemies.

Diversity and something for everyone

The offering doesn't stop at the biggest titles. The catalogue also includes the more atypical Squirrel with a Gun, which focuses on absurd humour and sandbox gameplay. For horror fans, there is The Casting of Frank Stone set in the Dead by Daylight universe, where player decisions have a huge impact. There’s also something for strategy lovers—Monster Train offers a blend of roguelike and deck-building, ensuring high replayability. And in the Premium version, we see a classic from the PS2, Wild Arms 4, returning in a refreshed form with additional features.

April on PlayStation Plus shows that Sony knows how to deliver a strong and diverse set of games, appealing to a wide range of players.
