Xbox has revealed a list of games set to debut between 7 and 11 September 2026. Over the coming days, titles including NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush will arrive on Xbox consoles and PC. One of the more interesting releases for Game Pass subscribers will be The Royal Writ, a strategy card game with deck-building elements. The list includes 21 titles in total, representing a wide range of genres. Players can expect both major franchises and smaller indie titles.
NHL 27, Halloween: The Game and Mewgenics are the week’s major releases
The week starts with the release of NHL 27 on Xbox Series X|S, scheduled for 11 September. The new Electronic Arts instalment is said to better capture the character of all 32 NHL teams thanks to refreshed arena presentation. The game will include, among other things, real goal songs, new pre-match presentations and a rebuilt crowd atmosphere. On 10 September The Royal Writ will debut on Game Pass — it combines strategic unit placement with deckbuilding mechanics. Cards representing units move across the battlefield toward the opponent’s base, and any that reach it before victory are permanently removed from the deck for that run. On 8 September Halloween: The Game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, an asymmetrical horror set during the events of 1978. Players can take on the role of Michael Myers or one of the survivors trying to save the residents of Haddonfield. As Michael you need to use stealth, shadows and special abilities, while the survivors can call the police and try to defend themselves. The same day sees the debut of Mewgenics, a tactical roguelike from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End Is Nigh. Players will create their own cat army, using breeding, genetics, abilities and items during turn-based expeditions. 8 September also brings Bus Simulator 27, offering more than 45 licensed buses from 13 manufacturers. For the first time in the series it will include long-distance coaches alongside classic, articulated, double-decker and electric vehicles. That day Xbox also gets Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute, the first chance to play the original Culdcept outside Japan; the 1997 title blends a digital board game with deckbuilding. Players can also expect the puzzle game Hole in Many, which requires planning piece movements and making successive 'shots' similar to golf. On 8 September Honeycomb: The World Beyond will debut, letting players explore the planet Sota7, apply bioengineering knowledge and search for a way to secure humanity’s survival.

On 9 September HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC, offering four open islands for free exploration. Each island has its own challenges and a Rush Master you must defeat to earn their car and title. 9 September will also see the launch of Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster, a action-packed Metroidvania set in a world of sword and sorcery. That same day Cats Around Us: Black Cat and Jewel Match Solitaire X will debut. In the first you must find hidden cats across the pages of a silent comic story, while the latter offers more than 500 levels of card-based fun. On 10 September The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline arrives, a first-person psychological thriller inspired by The Divine Comedy. You play as Gabriele Alighieri, who must face a family legacy and events tied to the returning boundary between the world of the living and hell. BrokenLore: DON'T LIE will be a Japanese psychological horror focused on trauma, isolation and an increasingly unstable reality. 10 September also brings Deconstruction Simulator, where players will take on contracts to strip and demolish buildings, salvage materials and sell valuable items. Co-op fans get Dumb Ways to Build, a physical game for teams undertaking extremely hazardous construction jobs. Fresh Tracks will blend skiing with action and fantasy elements, letting you traverse the snowy landscapes of Norwyn. In Lost in Loss players become a detective investigating residents who start losing memories of their own identities. Mole Mine Boom will be another puzzle title where you direct ore carts and use explosives to open new paths. RIN: The Last Child will offer an RPG adventure in a world inspired by ancient myths, with spellcrafting, rune collecting and boss fights. On 10 September Warshift 2: Machines of Madness lands, mixing strategy, action and RPG elements and letting you manage a base, squads, mechs, ships and heroes. The week wraps up on 11 September with Dino Odyssey, Dominus Mahjong Arcana and Liquid Cats, offering respectively a dinosaur adventure, a relaxed mahjong puzzle and a simple puzzle game with a stretchy cat.
Between 7 and 11 September, as many as 21 new games will arrive on Xbox. The biggest releases include NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush, while Game Pass subscribers will get The Royal Writ. The line-up also features horror titles, simulators, RPGs, puzzle games and co‑op productions.
