LG is rolling into the MCE 2026 trade fair in Milan with a full arsenal of HVAC solutions. The company is focusing on energy efficiency, AI, and technologies tailored to European homes and businesses. This is a clear signal that the heating and air conditioning market is strongly shifting towards electrification and smart systems.
Heat Pumps and Home Systems in the Spotlight
LG places the greatest emphasis on solutions for homes, particularly heat pumps with R290 refrigerant, which have a low environmental impact. The Therma V series has been expanded with new units that combine heating, cooling, and hot water in one system. Additionally, modern design and a touchscreen demonstrate that HVAC equipment is starting to resemble smart home devices. The whole system integrates with LG ThinQ, allowing users to control it remotely and manage energy consumption.
Air Conditioning with AI and Business Solutions
LG is also heavily promoting air conditioners with AI, such as DUALCOOL and ARTCOOL, which analyse the conditions in the room and automatically adjust settings. This means more personalised comfort and less manual control. The systems can also monitor air quality and optimise energy consumption. In the commercial segment, there are products like Multi V and VRF, which work with European ventilation systems. In addition, there are advanced controllers and modular chillers that can be scaled up for larger facilities.
LG shows a clear direction HVAC is becoming smart, energy-efficient, and AI-based. The company is targeting the European market, where the importance of ecology and energy efficiency is increasing. New solutions could make heating and air conditioning operate more automatically and consume less energy.
