LG Electronics, along with LG CNS and LG Energy Solution, jointly presented their integrated technologies for data centres for the first time in Singapore during the Data Center World Asia 2025 (8–9 October) trade show. As part of the “One LG Solution” strategy, the three companies from the LG Group have joined forces to offer a complete ecosystem of solutions for future data centres – from cooling and infrastructure design to energy systems.
One LG Solution – integrated approach to AI era data centres
The growing demand for computing infrastructure for AI applications today requires a comprehensive approach. The One LG Solution strategy positions LG as a key partner for data centre operators focusing on performance, scalability, and energy efficiency.
As part of this concept, LG delivers the latest cooling systems, LG CNS is responsible for the design, construction, and management of data centres, and LG Energy Solution provides emergency power supply solutions based on battery technologies.
Next Generation Cooling – from DTC to Digital Twins
LG is introducing a whole range of cooling solutions dedicated to large data centres focused on artificial intelligence. The offer includes:
industrial chillers
direct-to-chip (DTC) cooling systems,
CRAH (Computer Room Air Handler) units,
Cold Plate and Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) – ensuring precise temperature control for CPU and GPU processors.
These systems are supported by the LG Data Center Cooling Management System and Digital Twin technology, which enable performance analysis, predictive maintenance, and optimisation of energy consumption. At the DCWA trade show, visitors could also see an AR presentation showcasing LG's test centre in Pyeongtaek.
LG CNS and LG Energy Solution – intelligent management and stable power supply
The company LG CNS, regarded as a leader in AI transformation (AX company), is involved in the construction and operation of modern data centres, including a major contract in Indonesia executed in collaboration with Sinar Mas Group.
The firm is also developing its own concept of AI Box – a compact module containing all key operational elements of a data centre in the form of a container.
Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution provides UPS systems based on patented lithium-ion batteries, which ensure uninterrupted operation of the infrastructure, power stability, and energy security – crucial in the face of increasing AI loads and variable energy demand.
Efficiency and reliability through DC Grid solutions
LG also emphasises the importance of its innovative DC (direct current) network, which minimises energy losses compared to traditional AC installations.
While systems based on alternating current can lose up to 25% of energy as heat, LG's DC Grid technology reduces these losses to around 10%, while also lowering operating costs.
The system includes water chillers with oil-free centrifugal compressors, magnetic bearings, and high-efficiency inverter pumps and heat exchangers, resulting in greater reliability and lower energy consumption.
New standard for data centres in the AI era
“One LG Solution is ready to redefine the global data centre market with the combined expertise of LG Electronics, LG CNS and LG Energy Solution,” said James Lee, President of LG ES Company.
“We provide solutions that will enable data centre operators to scale in the AI era while maintaining the highest energy efficiency and operational reliability.”
LG shows that it not only produces TVs and home appliances – but is genuinely entering the world of AI infrastructure and large data centres.
“One LG Solution” is not a marketing slogan, but a well-thought-out ecosystem that combines liquid cooling, digital twins, and modern power supply into one cohesive system.
In practice, this could mean that LG will become one of the pillars of the infrastructure behind the development of global artificial intelligence.
