Last chance for free gaming! These hits are disappearing from Xbox Free Play Days

Calendar 3/15/2026

These are the last hours of an intense weekend with Xbox Free Play Days. If you haven't checked out the popular Killing Floor 3 or built your own banana republic in Tropico 6, you need to hurry. Only until the end of today, the titles are available for free to Game Pass subscribers. Check out what’s worth playing on this final evening.

Killing Floor 3

Fans of cooperative shooters and horror cannot overlook this title. Killing Floor 3 for Xbox Series X|S takes us to a freezing, abandoned arctic base as part of the latest season Operation: Deep Freeze. Your task is to survive waves of bloodthirsty "Zeds" using a futuristic arsenal. The game focuses on brutal, satisfying combat and collaboration, which is the key to success. If today's tests convince you, you can purchase the full version with a 40% discount, keeping all the progress you’ve made.

Tropico 6

If you prefer strategy and management over action, Tropico 6 is a must-play. As "El Presidente," you take control of an island nation, balancing the needs of your citizens with your own ambitions (and your Swiss bank account). The game offers plenty of humor, political intrigue, and a complex building system across multiple islands simultaneously. It is one of the best entries in the series, and today you have the last chance to try it for free. For the determined, a massive discount has been prepared – the game currently costs 75% less.

Worms W.M.D

A classic in its purest form. Worms W.M.D is a return to the roots of the series in stunning, hand-drawn 2D graphics, but with modern additions. You have access not only to iconic banana bombs and holy grenades, but also vehicles (tanks, helicopters), buildings for shelter, and a weapon crafting system. It’s the perfect title for a quick, evening showdown with friends before the end of the free weekend. Chaos and explosions guaranteed!

Diablo IV

Unlike the trio above, Diablo IV is not disappearing from free access today. Blizzard and Xbox have prepared a longer offer which will last until Wednesday, 18 March. Most importantly, any player can join in Sanctuary, even if they do not have a Game Pass subscription.

As part of the open tests, you can check out any character class, including the mighty Paladin from the latest expansion Lord of Hatred. The trial allows you to level up to experience level 25 and progress through the iconic storyline campaign. If you decide to purchase after 18 March, your character and all the items you’ve acquired will be waiting for you in the full version of the game.
