According to reports, a project internally referred to as “Rave” involves rewriting parts of existing functions and removing outdated code fragments. Engineers are focusing on the stability and optimisation of system applications. This approach is compared to the strategy that Apple once used with macOS during the “Snow Leopard” days – less flash, more refinement of the foundations. The result should be a more responsive system and better management of background processes. This is often where battery energy "escapes".
