The long-awaited Japan has finally become a reality. IGN has just uploaded footage of "vibing" on the new map, and it must be said – Playground Games has done it again. Even though the video has a "pre-release" label, the game looks so good that it's hard to believe it still needs any fixes.
Return to the Roots of the Series
A fun fact that will delight veterans is the new (old) progression system. The developers have confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will draw inspiration from the first game from 2012. We will start our career not as a "superstar", but as an ordinary tourist. Our task will be to slowly build our reputation, earn festival wristbands, and progress in the hierarchy of drivers.
Release Date and... PlayStation 5?!
The biggest surprise, alongside the location itself, are the target platforms. Microsoft has confirmed that the game will debut on May 19, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PC (also in Game Pass). But that’s not all – apparently by 2026 Forza Horizon 6 will officially be available on the PlayStation 5.
