4K, 4500 lumens, 300 inches and liquid cooling – sounds like equipment from the future, but this is happening right now. The Chinese brand Dangbei, known for portable projectors like Freedo and N2 Mini, is stepping up to a whole new level. The new model S7 Ultra Pro is home cinema equipment designed to compete not only with Xgimi products but also with more expensive premium brands.
4K and brightness that doesn't shy away from daylight
The S7 Ultra Pro offers native 4K and an impressive brightness of 4500 lumens (CVIA) – a level that allows you to watch movies even in daylight without losing any detail. The manufacturer claims that the projector maintains full image clarity in any lighting conditions, making it a universal device for any room.
Cinema-class technology and optics
The projector uses a professional polarised light control engine, which improves optical efficiency by 10% and increases light transmission by as much as 168%. Inside, there's also a Master Gold Ring lens, designed for cinematic sharpness and precision – every detail is meant to be literally cut with a scalpel.
The heart of the device is a MediaTek MT9681 system, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for apps and content. The entire system is cooled by a liquid system, which according to the manufacturer improves heat dissipation performance by 50% compared to older models.
Zero light noise, maximum image clarity
Dangbei boasts the world's first eight-layer light dispersion module, which reduces the phenomenon of laser “speckle” by as much as 99.999%. For the uninitiated – this is the effect where the image from the projector sparkles with tiny dots due to light interference. Here, it should practically disappear. The image can be adjusted thanks to the 0.98–1.6:1 optical zoom, achieving a screen of up to 300 inches without losing sharpness. For context – just 3 metres from the wall gives 80 inches, and at 7.5 metres we reach the maximum size.
The static contrast ratio is 8000:1, and the dynamic contrast – thanks to the Dynamic Light Control algorithm – is as high as 65,000:1. There's support for all popular HDR formats: Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HDR Vivid.
Smart features and AI on board
The Chinese version operates under the control of Dangbei Super AI OS 6.0, which uses language models to support voice commands, gestures, and light motion tracking. In the international version, one can expect the Google TV system, as seen in other projectors from the brand.
Price and Availability
The price in China is 12,499 yuan (around 1,310 pounds), which is less than 7,000 PLN – very attractive for equipment in this category. The global premiere is set to happen before the end of the year, and the competitor will be m.in. Xgimi Horizon 20 Max with a brightness of 5,700 lumens.
Currency | Amount |

Dangbei S7 Ultra Pro is a projector that looks like a ready competitor for models priced twice as high. 4K, high brightness, liquid cooling, and real elimination of the “laser speckle” effect – if the global price stays around the Chinese one, it could be one of the most interesting projectors of 2025.
