Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a free upgrade on PlayStation 5 Pro and it’s not just a cosmetic change. The update uses Sony’s new technology, PSSR 2 (AI upscaling), to improve image quality and performance. This means Night City is set to look sharper, more stable, and more detailed, while maintaining high FPS. It’s another proof that the game, despite the years since its release, is still being developed and adapted to new hardware.

The update introduces several graphic modes that allow you to tailor the game to your preferences. In between, there is a balanced mode that combines good quality with fluidity. Additionally, CD Projekt Red is implementing BVH8 technology, which further enhances ray tracing performance.
