Fans of the Assassin's Creed series are still waiting for more information about Assassin's Creed Hexe. Until recently there were reports suggesting a mid-2027 release. However, the latest leaks indicate the launch may be pushed back to a later date. Ubisoft has not officially commented on these reports. According to industry sources, the studio is simultaneously working on several projects tied to the Assassin's Creed franchise. The final release date for Hexe therefore remains unknown.

New leak suggests the release won't be until the second half of 2027

New information comes from NateTheHate2, a well-known industry leaker who publishes leaks about the games market. According to him, Assassin's Creed Hexe will not debut earlier than the second half of 2027. That means earlier rumours pointing to a June 2027 release may be out of date. The leaker did not, however, present concrete evidence to back up his suspicions. He only indicates that such a scenario seems plausible from a business standpoint. Assassin's Creed Shadows was a success and in 2027 it will still be a relatively recent instalment in the series. For that reason Ubisoft may not be in a rush to release the next main instalment of the franchise. The company has not yet confirmed any release date for Assassin's Creed Hexe. All current information is based solely on unofficial reports. Until an official announcement is made, these claims should be treated with appropriate scepticism. Players will have to wait for Ubisoft's statement. Only then will we know the actual schedule for the release of the new title.

Ubisoft is also developing other games in the Assassin's Creed universe

According to circulating rumours, Assassin's Creed Hexe is not the only project Ubisoft is developing. Unofficial reports also suggest work on a remake of the original Assassin's Creed. The remake is said to arrive after the release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced. That would mean the remake of the classic entry could debut before Assassin's Creed Hexe. Leaks also mention a possible return of Ezio Auditore. The legendary character would reportedly serve as a mentor in the new game. Ubisoft has not confirmed these reports. At this stage it's hard to say which of the circulating reports will turn out to be true. The only certainty is that the publisher continues to actively develop the Assassin's Creed franchise. It's possible further official information will be revealed during upcoming industry events. Until then, fans will have to rely solely on leaks and speculation.

The latest rumours suggest that Assassin's Creed Hexe may not debut until the second half of 2027. For now, Ubisoft has not confirmed these reports, so both the release date and details about the game remain unconfirmed.
