Apple Watch Ultra 3 with a bigger screen? A new leak from iOS 26 might confirm this!

Calendar 8/6/2025

Apple Watch Ultra 3 – bigger display, new features. Leak from iOS 26 reveals 422x514 resolution, LTE, 5G, blood pressure and satellite support.

It seems that Apple hasn't said its last word yet when it comes to the Ultra series watches. In the latest beta of iOS 26, graphics were found suggesting something that many of you might be interested in – the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is on its way, and it comes with a slightly larger screen.

New size, new quality?

On platform X (formerly Twitter), user Aaron Perris published information about a discovery from iOS 26 beta 5 – an image showing a watch with a resolution of 422 x 514 pixels. In comparison: the current Apple Watch Ultra has a screen of 410 x 502 pixels. The change may seem minor, but it's enough to stir up quite a bit of emotion.

There is currently no Apple Watch model with such a resolution, which means we are likely looking at Ultra 3. And if this is confirmed, then it’s likely either a larger case is on the way or thinner bezels. Both options have their advantages – one may provide longer battery life, while the other offers a more compact silhouette without sacrificing workspace.

What else do we know about the Apple Watch Ultra 3?

Changing the resolution is just the tip of the iceberg. For some time now, there has been talk of several other features that Apple might add to this model:

  • Satellite connectivity – in case you find yourself outside of mobile network coverage.

  • Blood pressure measurement – something that many of you have been anticipating for years.

  • New LTPO3 OLED display – with an even better always-on mode.

  • 5G modem – a forward-looking step towards complete mobility.

  • S10 or S11 SiP – new chip, new level of performance and energy efficiency.

Premiere? Just around the corner

If Apple doesn’t change its release cycle, the premiere of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will take place on September 9 – alongside the iPhone 17. That’s when we’ll learn all the details and, who knows, maybe a few surprises as well.

Let us know – is a larger screen and new features enough to convince you to buy the Ultra 3? Or are you waiting for something else? We’re keen to hear your thoughts.
