Apple Immersive Video – a new chapter in the video of the future!

Calendar 9/23/2025

Apple Immersive Video on Vision Pro. BBC, Red Bull and CNN with new 3D 8K HDR films. Antarctica, Tahiti and Royal Albert Hall within arm’s reach.

Apple, along with partners such as BBC, Red Bull, CNN, Canal+, Audi F1 Project, MotoGP, Hybe, and The Explorers, is expanding its content catalogue in the Apple Immersive Video format. These productions are recorded in 3D 8K HDR, at a 180° angle, using a special Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera. The materials are edited in DaVinci Resolve Studio and are available exclusively on Apple Vision Pro. For now, the headset is sold only in a few countries, but an improved version is set to be released in 2025, and a cheaper, slimmer model called “Air” is planned for 2027. Some titles will be available for free in the Apple TV app, while others will require a subscription to Apple TV+.

New Content Proposals – From Concerts to Extreme Sports

The Apple Immersive Video library is really starting to take off. Viewers are getting access to productions from various genres – from nature and travel documentaries to classical music, extreme sports, and behind-the-scenes of the K-pop world.

Nature and Travel Documentaries

In this new format, you will be able to:

  • visit Antarctica with CNN and get a close-up view of emperor penguins,

  • step into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest in Australia in the film Julaymba,

  • fly over Maine in a new episode of the series Elevated, seeing the autumn landscapes in full detail.

Classical Music in Full Immersion

Classical music fans can expect a unique experience at the Royal Albert Hall. BBC Proms in Apple Immersive Video will put you right next to pianist Lukas Sternath and immerse you in the sound of the orchestra in Spatial Audio.

Sport and adrenaline in 8K HDR

Red Bull is launching a series World of Red Bull – in the first episodes, viewers will be transported to the slopes of Revelstoke in Canada and the waves of Tahiti. Additionally, Canal+ has prepared a documentary about MotoGP and Johann Zarco, while Audi F1 Project will showcase the world of Formula 1 in a new dimension.

K-pop in the HYBE edition

Korean music giant HYBE presents CORTIS (Color Outside The Lines) – the first immersive documentary about the new boysband BIGHIT MUSIC, where you can step into the rehearsal room and see the birth of the choreography for the hit "GO!".
