Apple Creator Studio officially presented. One subscription for video, music, and graphic creators!

Apple has announced Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription aimed at video, music, graphic creators, as well as those creatively working with documents and presentations. The package combines the company’s most advanced applications – Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage – along with new AI features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.

The new service aims to provide “studio-quality tools” in one package and is available on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Apple clearly emphasises that Creator Studio has been created with both professionals and beginner creators, students, and educators in mind.

Smarter Editing in Final Cut Pro

Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad is receiving a set of new AI-based features designed to significantly speed up video editing. The main highlights:

• Transcript Search – search for segments of recordings by spoken text, perfect for interviews and video podcasts

• Visual Search – search for clips by objects and actions visible in the frame

• Beat Detection – automatic detection of beat and musical structure directly on the timeline

On the iPad, Montage Maker also debuts, which automatically assembles a dynamic clip from the best shots, matches the tempo to the music, and intelligently crops the video to portrait mode, making it easier to publish on social media. The subscription also includes full access to Motion – a tool for 2D and 3D motion graphics – and Compressor, which allows you to precisely prepare materials for distribution.

Logic Pro with new AI features for musicians

Apple is expanding Logic Pro with new tools based on artificial intelligence, aimed at supporting composition and music production. The main highlights:

• Synth Player – a new AI Session Player generating synth and bass parts

• Chord ID – automatic recognition of chords from audio and MIDI recordings

• new Sound Library with hundreds of royalty-free loops and sounds

Logic Pro on iPad gains features including Quick Swipe Comping known from the desktop version, as well as intelligent loop searching using natural language. As part of Apple Creator Studio, users also get access to MainStage, which turns a Mac into a stage instrument or vocal processor.

Pixelmator Pro arrives on iPad for the first time

One of the biggest new features is Pixelmator Pro on iPad. The app has been designed from the ground up for touch interaction and Apple Pencil, while still retaining the full capabilities known from the Mac version. Pixelmator Pro on iPad offers, among other things:

• a complete layer system

• intelligent selection and bitmap and vector masks

• Super Resolution, Deband and Auto Crop

• full support for Apple Pencil, including hover, squeeze, and double tap

For Creator Studio subscribers, new Warp tools and product mockup sets are also available.

New features in Keynote, Pages and Numbers

Apple Creator Studio also expands the capabilities of Apple's office applications, although they remain free for all users. Subscribers receive:

• Content Hub with high-quality graphics and illustrations

• new premium templates and themes

• generative tools for creating images from text

• AI features in Keynote, such as generating presentations from an outline

• Magic Fill and formula generation in Numbers

Apple also announces further development of Freeform, which will receive additional features as part of the subscription in the future.

Price and Availability

Apple Creator Studio will debut on 28 January in the App Store.
