AOC adds a new ultrawide monitor to its offering – the AGP346UCSD model (not to be confused with AG346UCD) from the AGON PRO series. The device features the latest generation QD-OLED panel with a diagonal of 34 inches, offering a refresh rate of 360 Hz. This is a significant change in the 21:9 segment, where until now, lower values have been the market standard. The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 connectors and features that facilitate working with multiple devices simultaneously, such as a built-in KVM switch.
New QD-OLED V-STRIPE Matrix
The applied panel has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 px and a curve of 1800R. It utilises the fourth generation of QD-OLED technology with an RGB V-Stripe subpixel layout, which practically improves font readability and edge sharpness compared to older QD-OLED designs with a triangular sub-pixel layout. The matrix response time is 0.03 ms (GtG), and peak brightness in HDR mode reaches 1300 nits (with 3% APL area).
The monitor has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and provides 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour palette. The manufacturer claims factory calibration with a Delta E of < 1, which is an absolutely phenomenal result.
DisplayPort 2.1 Connectivity and Additional Features
In the section on connections, we find DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1. There is also a USB-C port with DP Alt mode, which allows for image transfer from a laptop while simultaneously charging (or rather maintaining battery power) at 15W. With KVM functionality and a USB 3.2 hub, the user can control two computers using a single mouse and keyboard.
The monitor's casing, awarded a Red Dot distinction, features Light FX backlighting and an ergonomic stand with height adjustment ranging from 150 mm. AOC also added gaming-specific features such as a frame counter, on-screen crosshair, and a mode that improves visibility in dark areas (Shadow Control). Inside the device, there are two speakers, each with a power of 8W.
What’s the price?
The AGP346UCSD monitor has not yet been priced. However, it is expected to cost around 1050-1300 AUD (approximately 5000 PLN including VAT) at launch. Currently, the product appears in the manufacturer’s official catalogs and will first be available for sale in Asia. The equipment should appear in Polish distribution in the near future.
