Don't have plans for the evening? Prime Video regularly adds new movies and series to its library that can hook you from the first few minutes. Instead of browsing the catalog for hours, I've chosen three productions that are well worth watching this weekend.
Reacher
If you enjoy straightforward action and a hero who speaks little but does a lot, then this is a hit. Reacher is a series based on the novels by Lee Child, in which a former soldier finds himself in a small town and quickly uncovers a conspiracy. The series is characterised by brutal, realistic action and excellent pacing. It's the perfect choice for a weekend marathon.
The Boys
Superheroes, but without the sugar coating. The Boys shows a world where heroes are corrupt, twisted, and dangerous. The series doesn't shy away from brutality, satire, and political undertones. It's one of the strongest productions on Prime Video in recent years and a great choice if you're in the mood for something edgier than classic comic book cinema.
Road House
The new version of the iconic 80s classic Road House with Jake Gyllenhaal is a dynamic action film packed with plenty of brawls and adrenaline. The film is perfect for a Friday night when you just want to have fun without overthinking it.
