XGIMI has launched the RS30 Pro High-Brightness projector in the Chinese market, aimed at home theater enthusiasts seeking a bright image. The device offers 4K resolution, a laser light source with a rated brightness of 4500 CVIA lumens, and an adjustable iris. It also includes features to simplify image setup.
4500 CVIA lumens and a wide color gamut
The XGIMI RS30 Pro High-Brightness uses DLP technology with a 0.47-inch DMD and the QuaLas42 laser light source, equipped with 26 laser diode chips. The manufacturer claims a brightness of 4500 CVIA lumens, roughly 40% more than the standard RS30 Pro.
The projector also offers 98% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, a native contrast of 4000:1 and a dynamic contrast of 60,000:1. The adjustable aperture ranges from f/2.0 to f/5.0, adapting the amount of light to the displayed content. Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced are also supported.
Lens Shift and price in China
The new model features an optical zoom and a Lens Shift function that lets you move the image without physically repositioning the projector. According to XGIMI, about 3 meters from the screen is enough to produce a 100-inch image.
It includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Harman Kardon speakers with a total power of 24 W.
The XGIMI RS30 Pro High-Brightness costs 7,299 yuan in China, which is about PLN 4,300. So far, the manufacturer has not confirmed a Polish price or availability date.
