Xiaomi has introduced a new gaming monitor, the Redmi G25 2027, to the Chinese market. The device features a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel, Full HD resolution and a native 300 Hz refresh rate. The biggest surprise, however, is the price, which is just 799 yuan, or about 470 zł.
300 Hz, 1 ms and DisplayHDR 400
The Redmi G25 2027 uses a Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The manufacturer specifies a 1 ms GtG response time, 400 nits of brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor also offers 100% sRGB coverage and 93% DCI-P3, and is DisplayHDR 400 certified.
It also includes AMD FreeSync Premium, which helps reduce screen tearing, and a Dynamic Overdrive feature that automatically adjusts pixel response time to the frame rate. Gamers can also use an on-screen crosshair and a function that brightens dark areas.
Connections and availability
The monitor is equipped with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a headphone output. Full 300 Hz refresh is available over DisplayPort, while HDMI supports up to 240 Hz at Full HD. One limitation is the stand, which only allows tilt adjustment. However, a VESA 75 × 75 mm mount is available.
The Redmi G25 2027 is already available in China for 799 yuan (about 470 PLN). For now, Xiaomi has not confirmed a release date or price in Poland.
