Leaked information suggests that Discord Nitro users may gain access to the so-called Game Pass Starter Edition. This package would offer over 50 games, limited access to cloud gaming, and additional benefits such as earning points in the Xbox rewards system. This is a clear change in strategy, as instead of adding Discord bonuses to Game Pass, Microsoft is going in the opposite direction and offering its service to Discord users in a simplified form. This allows more people to try out the game library without having to pay for a full subscription.

This move fits well with the company's recent decisions, such as the price drop for Game Pass Ultimate. Microsoft is clearly looking for new ways to attract players and increase the accessibility of its service.
