During this year's Super Bowl final, Illumination studio officially presented to the world a new installment of the adventures of the beloved yellow troublemakers. The film titled "Minions & Monsters" has received its first, humorous trailer, which promises the craziest journey in the history of the series.
The action takes us to Hollywood in the 1920s. Instead of looking for a new villain they could serve, the Minions decide to... become movie stars themselves and make their own film about monsters. As one might expect, their plan quickly spirals out of control...
The script was written by Brian Lynch, who was responsible for the success of the first "Minions" film, and at the helm of the project is series veteran, Pierre Coffin, who not only directs but traditionally voices all the Minions.
When is the premiere of the new Minions?
“Minions & Monsters” (which is in fact the third part of the spin-off about the Minions) is likely to hit theaters on July 1, 2026. It looks like the yellow creatures will once again dominate the summer movie season.
