Valve introduces Steam Link on Apple Vision Pro, and it is one of the most important features for this device in a long time. Users can now stream games from their Steam library on PC or Mac directly to the headset using the local network. This includes support for 4K and the ability to set up a massive, panoramic screen, making the Vision Pro start to resemble a private, high-end gaming monitor. It’s a simpler and more official solution than previous methods based on third-party applications.
4K Streaming and a Huge Virtual Screen Make the Biggest Difference in Everyday Gaming

Lack of VR support is the biggest downside, but the development direction is very clear
However, it should be clearly stated that this is not true VR gaming, but classic 2D games. There is no support for SteamVR, so you won't be able to run native VR games here. Nevertheless, this is still an important step, as it shows that Apple is beginning to open its ecosystem, and Valve sees potential in this hardware. If this direction is maintained, we may see a more complete integration with Steam, and even VR support in the future.
